I love my job. Conferences are one of the best part of my job. FOSDEM is one of the best I’ve attended.
I usually go to conferences with a specific goal: I want to feel stupid.
It’s damn simple: I want to be challenged (by talks, by people around me and the environment) and learn (or try to learn) something new.
If you go to a conference and you don’t feel stupid at least once, well, that’s a bad conference.
I felt stupid so many times at FOSDEM that I’ll probably come back for many years.
