Ok, so, here’s WordPress 5.0.1.
Gutember looks a bit tricky in the beginning, but I can get used to it, probably.
I can still use MarkDown (with a proper block in Gutemberg if you use Jetpack), so no big issues for me.
If you want to learn something about Gutemberg, check the handbook or the page dedicated to it on the WordPress website.
Many people will complain about this, but at some point they will get used to it.
